Daihatsu Motor Co.

The company was founded in 1907, while its present name it got only in 1951. Initially the company has been manufacturing and selling combustion engines, but in the 1930 it began producing compact cars. In 1967, Daihatsu Motor Co. concluded an agreement on cooperation with Toyota, and by 1985 more than 10 million vehicles rolled off the Japanese company’s production line. In 1999 and 2000, at the turn of the century, the production units received the quality certification ISO 14001 and ISO 9001. The company Daihatsu Motor Co. is constantly researching and implementing "smart" systems, whose main task is to ensure the safety and comfort of driving.
